New features in ZapperPro 1.0

If you just want to know what the new features are, read here:

• new interface design with shortcut buttons at the screen edges
• new volume slider
• no BACK button any more (yes, correct!) instead hitting the background of the app means "BACK"

Functions and Setup

At the moment, I feel that there is no real need for "proper" documentation, as there is only one preference and the program offers only one page with buttons which do exactly what they suppose to do....

But for getting you running, here what you need to do for having the most expensive Remote Control in ya pocket:

• build or buy a Home Theatre PC
• install LINUX on it (most uber-cool operating system on earth besides Mac OS X)
• install VDR on it (the ultimate weapon for DVB-S/T/C)
• have it connected via WLAN directly to ya iPhone or via the Internet and EDGE/UMTS "indirectly"
• edit /etc/vdr/svdrphosts.conf to allow connections from your iPhones IP (you know, these four magic numbers?)
• restart ya VDR
• go to settings application on your iPhone
• open up "Zapper"
• enter either a hostname or the IP of your VDR
• launch "Zapper"

Done!!!!!!
